School is here! It is arriving sooner than later each year! School brings back routine after a summer of vacations, holidays, family time, and visiting relatives. Speaking of summer fun, you can view the Fourth of July’s activities on page 14. With all the fun, it often seems that we have to go back to school and work just to rest.

School brings structure back into our lives. Order is once again established, or so we like to think. The role that school plays in the life of our community is larger and more critical than ever. Around Town magazine’s goal to celebrate our community begins with a focus on our schools and the families they serve. You can find some special views in our Back to School section beginning on page 40.

On our cover this month is CITY ON A HILL which is celebrating its second anniversary. And to celebrate, CITY ON A HILL is now offering two Worship Experiences at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with children’s programs at both. Pastor Chris Bryant said, "The spirit of CITY ON A HILL is that of a church moved into action. The people who attend are thinking people, who want a reflective kind of faith. They want to ask questions and they want to wrestle with issues. They don’t want to be told what to believe." See details on pages 16 and 17.

At times the crazy routine of summer takes our minds off of one of the most important priorities, our health. At Around Town, our goal is to give a voice to a part of your community that spends its life looking after your best interest. Learn how to eat for purpose, review summertime safety and childhood dental tips, along with so much more in our Health and Wellness Special section.

There is so much in this month’s Around Town issue that we wish to share with you about the activities and adventures that your community has to offer. We are confident that the wonderful people who live here and the fantastic business community, ready to provide you with the services and goods that you need, provides for great reading. We hope that you enjoy the magazine and it becomes a point of celebration in your homes each month.
