Happy Independence Day! The community of Woodstock reveal a mosaic of life that connects through families, businesses, and public servants both military and government, all cooperating in the preserving of our freedom. It is a day to remember and celebrate. The celebration of Independence Day in Woodstock will kick off at 7:30 a.m. with the Woodstock Freedom Fest Run, followed by the annual parade down Main Street and will continue through the day with special activities at City Park. You may even see your picture in next month's issue as you celebrate the 4th. 

On this month's cover is Pete's Plumbing, Inc. Pete's Plumbing is available 24/7 for emergency plumbing services in the Woodstock, North Fulton, East Cobb, Cumming, and Duluth areas. Owners Julie and Rick Lippett have been successful through providing great service. "We service a full range of plumbing problems," Rick says. "Leaks generated from customers' faucets, garbage disposals, or water heaters, as well as toilets and water pressure problems are what we're here to fix." Become familiar with their business on pages 14 and 15.

Twelve years of study and personal growth finally come to an end for your graduates. Sequoyah and Woodstock graduates can be seen celebrating their accomplishments on pages 46 and 48. Congratulations class of 2009!

The best country in the world is the United States of America! It is really a connection of small communities made up of individuals living lives linked together with common needs. Their needs are met through living in connectedness with churches, businesses, and knowing that America's service personnel are attending to their need of security, both local and national.
